Allright, 2020 is almost over and therefore it’s time for a little wrap up. I’m pretty proud of myself because I was able to read six books this month. This is definitely above average for me. So here are the books I read in December:
Sicko by Amo Jones (5 stars)
The Not-Outcast by Tijan (4 stars)
Look the Part by Jewel E. Ann (5 stars)
The Christmas Pact by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward (4 stars)
Royal Bully by Rachel van Dyken (3 stars) and
The One That Got Away by Karina Halle (5 stars)
I will add all the reviews here as soon as possible. As you can see, there were three 5 star reads for me.
The book I enjoyed the most was definitely “Look the Part” by Jewel E. Ann. This author was new to me and was recommended by a fellow bookstagrammer. This book was really great!
On the contrary, I was a bit disappointed by “Royal Bully”. I’ve seen this series being recommended all over bookstagram, so I decided to give it a go. This is supposed to be the first book, a novella, which introduced the setting and the characters. But unfortunately it didn’t convince me and I’m not planning on reading the other books any time soon.
Anyway, 2020 was an interesting year. I did not reach my goal of reading 52 books. I only managed 42 out of 52. But there is always next year and my goal of 1 book per week stands again for 2021! I’ll keep you posted about it…
